Scavenger Hunt

One night, when Ally and I were driving to dance, I had a
crazy idea that we should set up a scavenger hunt for the kids.
So after dance, Mom, Ally, Glynne, Kyle, Dad, and I had a lot fun
laughing at Mom's attempts to come up with clues. I think she
came up with one that started with this.

Jack and Kate went up the hill, and
cranked their necks up to the sky...

We love you Mom!

The next day, Ally and I headed
 out to plant the clues.

 Memorial Park

  Youth Viking Football Field

 Library

 Skate Park

  Water Tower

 Dad

When we got back, we loaded
the kids in the car and I read them
the first clue.

Clue #1
I'm built tall and pointed in memory
of the Vietnam Veterans.

Clue #2
TOUCHDOWN VIKINGS!

Clue #3
Ssh, people are reading.

 Clue #4
Momma called the doctor, and the doctor
said- be careful on the ramps or you'll crack open
your head.

Clue #5
There's water up high, not rain in the sky.
What could it be? You shall see.

Clue #6
Where do you go when you get sick?

The last clue said Cookies!!! When we dropped the clue off
at Dad's office, he didn't think they would get it.
The first thing they said when they saw it was, McDonalds!

We got a tote of cookies and brought them
back to the clinic to eat with Dad.

Perhaps while you are there, you will look to the Lord your
God. You will find him if you look for him with
all your heart and with all your soul.
